IN THE SHADOW OF YOUR WINGS is an anthology of new English-language psalm settings for soprano or mezzo-soprano and piano, composed by a diverse, international group of composers representing a variety of Christian traditions.

These works were all originally premiered as part of Deus Ex Musica’s unique, interactive event that combines live performance with discussion about faith, Scripture, and spirituality. Deus Ex Musica continues to work with congregations, organizations, and educational institutions to craft unique versions of this event to best serve their communities. The event is flexible in duration, scope, repertoire, and format (live or online.)
