DEUS EX MUSICA routinely partners with churches, organizations, and educational institutions at all levels to create, adapt, and present unique events that use music as a springboard for meaningful discussions about faith. We tailor our events to fit the needs of a wide variety of constituencies, from theology students to laypeople to college students at secular institutions interested in exploring faith in an authentic and meaningful way.

Recent collaborators have included churches in Moscow, Toronto, London, and the US, plus numerous seminaries, Christian colleges, and secular universities, including:

Parish of St Martin in the Fields-London (Anglican)

Eden Theological Seminary (United Church of Christ)

Boston College School of Theology (Jesuit)

Boston University School of Theology and Ministry (Methodist)

University of Massachusetts-Boston

Butler University

Wheaton College-Illinois (Evangelical)

Stonehill College (Jesuit)

Gordon College (Evangelical)

Trinity Western University-Vancouver (Evangelical)

Churches and other organizations that have hosted the event include the parish of St Martin-in-the-Fields (UK-Anglican), Old South Church in Boston (UCC), Immanuel Lutheran Church (Riverside, CA), Royal York Baptist Church (Toronto), UniteBoston, the Forefront Festival of Faith and Art, and the Boston Theological-Interreligious Institute.

Deus Ex Musica has developed a creative and very effective way to approach biblical material by way of new musical compositions.  The students were thoroughly engaged and very appreciative; and their responses revealed how the music invited new insights, as well as how the music highlighted dimensions of meaning that had occurred to them in their reading and study of the psalm.  Highly recommended! -Prof. Clint McCann, Eden Seminary
